Comparison between certain traits our number 27 possesses and those of a previous number 7 may have been noted this season. However, if Robson uses his aggression, drive, and great delivery to fill the Thommo sized void that is often spotted in our midfield, then I think we will see both the ex Dundee Utd man, and indeed Scott McDonald really flourish this year.
Must say I wish Jiri all the best. Never had a run in a central berth which I’m sure would have shown us the true player that lies within. That said, I never felt the big man let us down, good performances in the Man Utd double header last year (including those well eh, falls I suppose), and the Milan and Shaktar at Celtic Park in particular this year showed his class and ability.
